Engine: The engine is a 1974 454 2 bolt main block bored .030 over with stock cast crank, stock truck rods mated to TRW 11.1 domed forged pistons. The cam is a Comp Cams CB 295A-8 (.629 intake lift .605 exhaust lift, 295 intake duration and 304 exhaust duration @ .020 tappet lift.) Meling high volume oil pump with welded pickup. Milodon 7 qrt. low profile pan. Heads are 74 oval port 781 casting GM with 2.19 intake 1.88 stainless steal swirl cut Manley exhaust valves. The heads have been fully ported. Harland sharp roller rockers. The intake manifold is an Eldebrock Victor Jr. 454-O that I had gasket matched to the heads. An 4150 850cfm Holley double pumper sits on top. I had some mods done to the carb such as removing the choke assembly and fully blue printing the carb. A Holley electric blue pump feeds the 9.1 compression engine 93 octane pump gas.

Transmission: Turbo 400 with a cheetah reverse manual valve body. An after market sprag and other misc. internal components. B&M transmission cooler, 4500 ATI 8" converter.

Rear end Wheels and Tires: I had a 3.5" steel drive shaft built that hooks to a 1969 Camaro 12 bolt rear end (stock length). The 12 bolt replaced my original 10 bolt open rear end that had 3.42 gears. I had the 12 bolt completely rebuilt with 4.10 Richmond gears. I added c-clip eliminators and 5/8's Moroso wheel studs to it. Rear tires are 28.5 x 11.5 M/T ET Streets and the front are Pro Trac street fronts mounted on Centerline Auto Drag rims. Rear rims are 15 x 7 with 4 7/8" back space and the fronts are 15 x 5 with a 3 5/16" back space.

Misc.: #8 (1/2") steel braided lines run from the rear welded in C/E gas tank sump to the carb. The transmission lines are #6 steel braided lines. I use a B&M Pro Stick to shift the transmission and a 5" Autometer Monster Tach with a shift light. Other gauges include 2 5/8 Autometer water temp. and oil pressure. I installed a line lock to lesson the stress on the transmission and brakes during burnouts at the track.

Performance: Best 1/4 mile ET and MPH: 11:774 at 116.98 Best 60ft: 1.651

I bought the car 22 years ago, 4 months before I got married. I am the 2nd owner of the car. The car is an original SS 350 4-speed (Saginaw tranny) bench seat car from Virginia. The original color of the car was 72 GM Red. It now has its 2nd paint job on it, 89 GM Cadillac flame red clear coat base coat.

More PICTURES.............COMING SOON.... Please Check back! (I will put them up here, more pictures of the car, motor, interior and at the drag strip.
