Camp Wanake

Our early deadline to receive devotionals for summer 2007 is May 21, 2007. (Those sent in after this date will be used as they are received until the summer is covered.)

Alumni brought a dream to reality the last two years as we completed the first two volumes of devotions for summer support staff. Now we are working on the 2007 Edition of daily devotions written by Wanake alumni for the Wanake summer support staff. Each day of the summer (Monday-Friday) the support staff gathers in small groups throughout the day for scripture reading, a devotional and prayer. This devotional written by alumni is our source of direction for this daily devotion time.

Is there a story or a Biblical truth that summer support staff needs to hear? Can you write from your heart one day’s devotion or a one week series? We need 40 devotionals for the summer (5 devotionals each week for 8 weeks). Each day’s devotion needs to include a scripture with reference, short devotional from the heart, written prayer, and thought for the day (or “something to think about”).

Prayerfully consider it now.
