I just wanted to let you know that I arrived safely in Talca today. My host family picked me up at the airport and drove me to their house. They are really nice!!! I already love them and they have taught me a ton. I didn’t get a parade, but I did get to visit my school. Tomorrow I will go shopping and get my uniform and everything else I need for school. I start on Monday ahhhh. I thought it was going to be a lot harder than it is so far. None of my host family speaks English but we are having fun trying. At least I am! I hope all my days are as good as this one, I am surprised that I am doing as well as I am considering my lack of Spanish skills, but I think it is just because everyone is so nice.
