This week, I have been so-so busy.

Saturday I went to an art auction. I was recruited because the other student said no, and I was next. Since I'm a softy, I sat for 5 hours through this art auction and watched people spend millions of dollars on paintings. It was completely crazy.

Then on Sunday, I went on this 21-kilometer hike with Rotary. I was thankful for the other exchange students. Then after the hike we had a big dinner.

Wednesday I went with Rotary to the caves. Very different for the factor that it was the second cave I've ever seen. Oh - and to get there we had a small problem. The train was 25 minutes late and we were supposed to switch trains, which meant we couldn't switch trains and we would have missed our second train. So two of the parents took us there. We took the train back to Verviers and I took my first bus trip home from Verviers. And didn't get lost!!

Then Thursday was our Rotary meeting. Jen, the Australian’s, parents are here now. So they came and they spoke English. It was exciting. Jen and I and they all talked bout stupid things that we all missed, and how she leaves in January (that's so sad.)

Then Friday was gym. God that's so horrid. I hate gym so much.

Then yesterday, a couple of the exchange students and I went to Germany for the day. That was so much fun and we still returned in time for dinner. That's one thing I love about Europe -- you can just get up and go and have no problem {unless you're me lol} After we returned to Verviers yesterday, one of the Canadians returned with me to my house because my parents were having company. When they do that they always tell me to invite someone, after the 1st time they had company over. It’s so much better when you have someone to talk to.

So today is Sunday and it’s so cold. Yesterday morning it rained so much and now its just cold. We took the Canadian student home this morning early because she has piano lessons and on the way back Jean-Pierre had to vote {which is mandatory here.} Here they don't get a card and punch a few things and you're finished. Instead you have to write it all out. It’s so old school. lol.

Oh, yeah, I’m going to London at the end of the month. I’m so excited!! Well that's all for this week. Talk to you later. Don't forget to check out my Ringo photos.
