Hey everyone,
Thought I would update everyone and thank Rotary for this totally problem-less year abroad. I can proudly say I have had no problems {not with family, my school, or friends}.
So thank you so much Rotary.
So, this Friday I'm going with the Ambassador of Belgium to a university to present my home state: "Ohio"!! And then Saturday, with Rotary, we are doing a tour of something{I can't remember what, but its always fun}
So I have also changed families and they are totally awesome just like the other two - and I have a pool for when it’s hot here. {Sorry my Ohioans, there is wonderful weather here}
And with school, I just finished my last project for my class in geography and now its just time to start studying for the exams.
I will be home very soon, plus my mother and sister are coming here very soon -- the 17th may!!! I’m very excited...
So Rotary, if you need me to present a program on wonderful Belgium and the blast that I've had here, I will do with no problems.
I have to say, Dave you picked an awesome Rotary for me. The club invites us every Thursday to lunch and the last Thursday of the month is in the evening, wearing our blazer. {Mine has collected quit a lot of stuff its huge.} Our district participates with us one time minimum every month.
I love Belgium and I definitely want to return.
Next year, I have been accepted to go to Paris to do an au pair. I want to travel now, lol.
Well, thanks everyone for my awesome year!
I will be debarking from here soon :) happy and sad...
Thanks again,
tracey
