Estoy en Los Andes ahora y mi famila es tan fabulosa!!

I feel so lucky! I am so happy to be here. I have own room (WOW!) My family is also very happy to have me, and that is all I really wanted. =) I have that and so much more. Everyone was right; expect nothing and you will find happiness much easier.

I brought a big box of Buckeyes... they’re already gone =D

Also, I am la gringa, everywhere. hahaha.

They speak English and it is hard not to cheat. Even with 5 years of Spanish, my peers are hard to understand. I start school tomorrow. There is another blonde girl from Minnesota there in my class. She speaks even less Spanish than I do and her family knows NO English.
