Hello my friends from Rotary :)

I have officially been here for three months now and I am starting up on four months today. I had a nightmare last night that I left Chile after three months, because of a national security threat. How obscured is that? Good thing was that I was happy to wake up in Chile. :)

Things are way better than last month.

Friends: I have been honing in on who I can trust, and have been having a great time with them. My birthday was close to two weeks ago, and went great. Many of my good friends were at the party. I am spending more and more time with them after school, or during the weekends. It's getting better each month. If I know them well, I will sometimes tutor my friends in my spare time. This actually improves my Spanish as I need to translate quickly on my feet.

Family: The family is nice here, as always. I am getting along with everyone I think, so there are really no problems there. The only thing that sometimes gets in the way is my English and Spanish. I am in communication with colleges and universities and scholarship donors, so sometimes when the family is all doing homework or alone time, I need to do these things. That's really the only thing that we different views on. I don't really talk much on MSN messenger that much, or AIM ever, just work on my 'homework from back home'. Other than that, things are fine.

School: I have a blast in school now. I have a great group of friends that are in my class. Talking with them daily helps my conversation skills and continually improves my Spanish. The teachers all love me, so that's not a problem there. I am soon to be giving lessons in English conversation.

Rotary: Tonight is a dinner at my counselor’s house. They are both very nice, and like taking us places once in a while. I expect to receive my stipend as always, today.

Thanks for all your time again,
Chau!
Sincerely,
Garrett Rucinski
