This last week has been super busy. I changed to my last host family. They are really nice and live in an apartment on the other side of town. It wasn’t that hard to get used to, though the first few days were a little hard to figure out the buses and everything.

Two Fridays ago I went to a zabiacka with my second host family. It was a pig slaughter but it was not as bad as it sounds! I got to help twist the sausages. Unfortunately I didn’t bring my camera because I thought I didn’t want pictures of that horror but it was actually a whole family event and it would have been nice to have pictures of everyone helping. We started at 8 am and weren’t done by 8:15 when I had to catch my bus home. It was a lot of work. Then I woke up the next morning and got on a train for ski week. It was so much fun! I learned to snow board,(it’s awesome) and had a great time with the other exchange students!
