It is getting colder here by the day. I can tell winter will be here soon. My classmates are busy studying as our school is very rigorous. It is hard to stress about classes when you are still trying to figure out what they are saying. My physics teacher gives me handouts in English and I can follow along with math. (I hope I did well on our test today)

I went mushroom hunting this weekend. It was pouring down rain most of the day. My host father told me that mushroom hunting is very popular in Slovakia. Unfortunately the only mushrooms I found were poisonous! Luckily my younger host brother who is 6 found lots of big ones. One was the size of his face! He ran up and down the forested hills looking for them! So today my host mom made awesome soup with the mushrooms we found.
