Hello everyone,

This is what I did this weekend... We went kayaking in Britagne, and that was beautiful. The river that we kayaked up was very pretty. There were apples floating the river - it was like bobbing for apples at Halloween!!! Ok, not really, because the water was pretty gross, but there were birds. We saw a couple of Great herons, which were magnificent, some other water birds, and some flowers that grew in the sea grass that bordered the river banks. We also went to the beach, every one of them, as we drove past, beautiful. They're sandy, with rock outcroppings all around, and ports, with all kinds of fishing boats floating in them. I took tons of pictures, because words really can't describe how beautiful it was there. We went hiking on a path that goes on for miles, around the entire point on the beachside. There are lookout spots that are shear rock, and true to a mother's reaction, Brigitte didn't like me standing at the edge looking around or taking pictures. She didn't believe me that a gust of wind wouldn't shove me over =)

School hasn't started yet, so it's hard to find things to do, since I don't know town well enough to walk around without getting lost.
