Effective February 16, 2005 I have decided to cease my realtionship with Amazon.com. They no longer pay me commissions at the level the did in the past. Their discounts for customers are shrinking every year. Finally, they refuse to pay me commissions on my own purchases. I am going to purchase my items from Overstock.com and Tigerdirect.com.
I started compiling a list of books that I have read back in 1997. It had become increasingly difficult to keep track of all of the books I had read, and all of the authors that I like. When it became time to create a web site, I thought what better place to keep track of all of my reading. Since it is also a public thing, I hope to help other readers find out about other books and authors.
