Why not tear
free??
From: "Yoav"
Little babies use shampoos that don't sting the
eyes. Now that's understandable since they're babies and don't know
to prevent the shampoo from entering the eyes. However, once we grow
up, we stop using that shampoo and start using one that does sting
the eyes. WHY ? Why do we, as adults deserve to have stinging eyes ?
Why not use the no-tear formula for every shampoo ?
ME sent us their thougths:
Because it's a conspiracy to make us all damage our
eyes and then have to wear glasses and so upping the opticians
wages!!
TB did quite a bit of research and came up with
this:
Little babies use shampoos that don't sting the

Baby shampoo is gentler partly because it does not have harsher
chemicals as adult shampoo do. Adult hair is thicker, oilier and
more exposed to the environment where baby shampoo will not do the
job. Add split ends, dandruff and frizzy hair and you need stronger
shampoos to make a dent in some people hairs. UnFortunately stronger
shampoos mean using stronger chemicals to break down and help wash
away greasy hair which can break down the natural lubrication that
is in your eyes. Fortunately we as adults have learned to keep soap
out of our eyes when we shower or bathe.
Norm simply stated this:
At the first one where it was played...duh
C++gUrU added to TB's research with this:
The chemical that causes your eyes to sting is an
active ingredient in the shampoo. Babies don't sweat nearly as much
as adults, therefore they have cleaner hair, and don't need as much
cleaning power. And the useless active ingredient stings their hair,
so they just take it out. But as adults sweat more and can prevent
the shampoo from entering their eyes, they need the ingredient.
