"Observing nature is what inspires my work in abstract and impressionistic ways. I like to capture the magic of every day life, integrating variety and unity into the painting. A painting for me must have mystery and eloquence. My paintings can take many directions. Spontaneity of my work gives an imaginative point of view that does not eliminate the recognizable imagery. This gives me freedom to make decisions in designing and composition. As viewer, you are invited to look, participate, and discover your own interpretation."

"I allow the paint to mix spontaneously forming images, an abstract manner that expresses ideas and emotions. By constantly evaluating and applying layer after layer of the glaze of color, I try to coordinate imagination with reality, exploring many ways to create texture, shapes, lines, values and colors. These creative steps allow the painting to evolve until nature and design are fully integrated - a painting has emerged."

Isabel received art education during her years at the School for the Formation of Educators, Cordoba, Argentina. She continued her art studies at Kent State Stark in drawing and visual organization. She also studied under the direction of well known artists such as Bette Elliot, Ed Whitney, Gerald Bromer, Carol Barnes, Virginia Cobb and others.

Isabel is well known in the community for her participation in charitable works, helping with art related work for the past twenty five years.

A signature member of Ohio Watercolor Society, Isabel has exhibited in many art shows and galleries and won numerous awards.
